Maintaining a healthy relationship with employees assists companies to gain massive benefits. On the other hand, failures in ensuring good and healthier relationships with employees can be a major reason that carries out the company towards a massive failure. However, an employment relationship simply refers to the connection that has been made between employer and employee as a result of selling labor (Budd, 2017).   

As one of the ways to enhance the commitment of employees towards the organizations, maintaining a healthier employer-employee relationship is a must. Especially in industries that drive with labor incentive mechanisms such as the apparel sector, this concept concerns in higher degree. In here department of Human Resources plays a vital role in formulating policies and procedures. These employee relations establishing and enhancing good relationships between employer and employee in different ways. Such as having good employee relationships positively impacts on good organizational culture. When the employer considers the betterment and welfare of employees, employees tend to become motivated, and ultimately productivity increases. Especially in the modern corporate world, people are seeking to find out a workplace where they can work freely with good leadership. It is not like the previous, modern world has given enough consideration towards company culture and support. Therefore, ensuring good employee relationships assists to attract new employees while retaining the talented pool within the organization and at the same time it adds an extra sparkle to the image of the company. Thus, this employee relationship directly impacts preventing and minimizing internal conflicts and reduce employee costs in absenteeism and turnover. The company concerns the success of employees' personal life, morale and loyalty tend to be increased. Not only that, most of the employees tend to show organizational citizenship behaviors. In order to minimize and prevent unwanted interferences, threats, and other issues from unions, every company should be tactful enough to manage and maintain healthy relationships.

When it comes to the apparel industry, almost all companies have established a separate unit or a department to ensure maintaining a healthier relationship. Because the apparel industry highly depends on laborers, this has been a popular and most discussed topic. Thus when the company fails to maintain a healthy relationship, employees become frustrated and demotivated. It directly affects on productivity and success of the company.
